Susan followed her heart to Southern California. She studied voice privately with world renowned vocal coaches, Seth Riggs (who also coached Michael Jackson) and Roger Love (television reality show "Pop Stars") and signed with Nissi Records in Hollywood.
Ms. Funk's first album, "Just For You Lord", aired in the U.S., and around the world through Christian Radio. She appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and Christian Television Network (CTN) as a guest artist and was interviewed on radio and TV. A popular singer and dynamic speaker, with a warm personality, Susan continued ministering in Southern California and later executive produced and released, "That's Why We Have a Christmas", and "Here In My Room" available on CDBaby, iTunes and this website.
She was a favorite pop and Broadway vocalist in popular Los Angeles venues. She has sung the National Anthem at major sporting events for the Mighty Ducks, the Angels and the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach and emceed for or judged multiple beauty pageants in Southern California.
As a licensed and ordained minister, Susan has ministered in Fine Arts as a worship leader and in multiple areas of ministry at her home church, Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida. She is ordained through the ministry's co-founder, Bishop Randy A. White.
She is also member of the National Christian Ministers Association.
